The trail began with a 3.5 mile road walk out of the Village of Northville. Not long after that we got to the woods. Much to my dismay, there was no “Lake Placid 132.5 miles” sign. The trail quickly made up for that though. With high spirits we trekked along through rolling hills and windy single track.
