Since the quest really doesn't give any experience to note, and it is a tough battle, the best way to do it is the peaceful way. Against a Mordus you must deal high damage in every round and from every team member - so your Cleric is your key to this battle and with Soul Mate you heal yourself and damage Mordus. A Melee Fighter who gets in close with disabling blows can keep Mordus from disabling your team. A Tank is next to useless.
